7 Dots Studio Garden Party Card by Kim Ewins

7 Dots Studio Garden Party Card

Hello…hello dear friends, Kim here with you today to share my final project for this collection my 7 Dots Studio Garden Party Card.

I have loved working with this collection from 7 Dots! The colours are amazing in this range, not always the colours people like to work with. Personally I love them! Also I love the grunge feel of this collection… up my alley!

For this, my final share I have a card…..let me show you!

For this card I have used a basic card base. Then I cut a piece from the 7 Dots studio ‘Garden Party’-Garden Gnomes paper, just a few  millimetres an all sides smaller than the card base. I machine stitched around the four sides of this piece, using topstitch thread.

Below is a photo of all the pieces/elements of my card.

So in assembling my card I stuck down the elements moving from top left to right. Base, stitched ‘Garden Party’ Garden Gnomes paper, then I positioned the lace to the left of the card and stuck down using glue. I positioned the tags and stuck into place. Next I stuck down my satin seam binding- double bow & tucked the two smaller pieces of lace into place and glued down. I then took the dove tail piece from the 7 Dots Studio- Die cut Elements & web ribbon and added those. I added some of the stunning 49 and Market Mixology blooms HERE and then I fussy cut some of the eggs from the 7 Dots-‘Garden Party’- Knotty paper and stuck those into place. Last but not least I added a 7 Dots Studio ‘Garden Party’ Word Sticker.
