Inspiration | The Versailles | AB Studio | Kim Ewins

Hello..hello, dear friends!

Kim here with you again to share my 3rd project, using ‘The Versailles’ Collection from AB Studio

Today I have another layout to share with you all. This collection from AB Studio allows you to create some very versatile layouts.

Here is my layout…

So I have titled this layout ‘Inspiration’.

For my layout I first picked my base paper, which is the AB Studio – The Versailles – sheet 1 – The Meeting. I then added some background texture using Nuvo Crackle Mousse in Egyptian Gold and a stencil. I allowed this to dry naturally. I then took the AB Studio The Versailles – Bonus sheet and I fussy cut the large clock face out, and then stuck cardboard to the back. Once happy with a position I stuck this down in place. I trimmed my photo and added cardboard to the back and glued it in place.

Next, taking the AB Studio The Versailles – sheet 7 – Morning dew, I began to fussy cut out some of the large flowers and adding them to my layout, adding cardboard to the back if I felt they needed a little height and sticking them down. As I went I also added some cheesecloth/muslin, just to create a little more softness to the page.

Adding in a few soft green leaves and also a few darker ones from the AB Studio The Versailles – Sheet 4- Lucky to Be

I also added in a strip of trim to the layout. For a little touch of added green I used a water brush pen and some Dylusions Ink Spray and carefully went in and added some colour. Using the water brush allows you to dilute the colour and make it softer.

For my little title I used one of the words from the AB Studio The Versailles paper description strips.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed looking and reading about my layout?
