Love, Love, Love by Amanda Reddicliffe

While I loved the bold prints on the ‘Love’ PP, I didn’t want it taking centre stage away from my photo, so I used some vellum to tone down the paper and draw the eye into the centre of the page where my photo was.  I then added a gold doily, some MH Styleboard words (from my stash), layered AC Stitched papers, and added some coordinating cardstock die cut embellishments to the right side of my page and Kraft/Gold Accents from the same range – I popped these up with foam tape here and there to create some dimension.  This page came together in about half an hour – I kept it pretty simple because I wanted the papers to do all the work. 🙂

Best Story by Amanda Reddicliffe

Loving the American Craft/Amy Tangerine Stitched range again, and making the papers do most of the talking.  I especially loved how diverse the patterns were in this range, which I think I have managed to show in this next layout.  Believe it or not, I used six of the A and B sided papers here.

The story behind this layout was the adventure me and my bears went on – we’ve turned into Cave explorers! I was 6 months pregnant and managed to get down into Lake Cave (see that picture on the left? Yeah. Down there. 42 meters. 350 steps.) We do a different cave each year, and I never miss a photo opportunity.  I loved the work out, but at the same time my body was struggling carrying the baby bump. And the photography equipment.  I kept up with the crowd, and my family had a blast. It was an awesome day.
