Annabelle Sprinkles and Fairy Dust Layout

Hey again Anna’s fans! Melinda back with you today with another Annabelle acrylics share my Annabelle Sprinkles and Fairy Dust Layout!

This one is titled “Sprinkles & Fairy Dust” and I just love, love, love how this turned out!

Annabelle Sprinkles and Fairy Dust Layout

I had these fun photos of my oldest boy from July this year with his new “Unicon” shoes and thought this “Sprinkles & Fairydust” title was perfect! So did he 😉

I started this page with a cut file that I had my Cameo draw onto my white cardstock. Using the sketched lines I pierced holes all the way around the design. This way I I could hand stitch onto my background. With the holes pierced but before I stitched I grabbed my favourite Lindy’s Magical Shaker in Black Forest Black and some clean water and got to sprinkling powder and water onto my background.

To get this super fun look I was careful to not mix the powder and water too much. When you active any of the Magical powders you really do see the magic happen. In all of the colours there is a rainbow of coloured powders that mix together. Adding more water and mixing well will get less of the rainbow look that I achieved on this page. Isn’t it so fun!!

I continued to add powder and water in sprinkles all around the cut file, not completely covering the design until I was happy with the result. I also added in some sprinkles using some pink and yellow mist.

After that was completely dry I did a simple back stitch where I had pierced the stitching holes. In order to easily follow the design I flipped over my card stock and did a dot-to-dot with my piercing holes!

With that big design in the background the page didn’t really need much more so I grabbed my title piece from the Annabelle designs and stuck that down. I added a pocket behind the bottom photo on the left for a tag for my journalling. Then my final touch was 3 of the gorgeous Annabelle White and Glitter Silver butterflies.  Oh and a sub-title using some thickers from my stash. No, I didn’t misspell in case you were worried. “Unicons” is on the box and I just HAD to include that on the page lol

All that’s left is to add some twine to my tag and my journalling and then I did some white splatters to finish off. You can see my process in my video below! I hope you enjoy!

VIDEO COMING SOON

That’s it for day 2 of my shares, I will be back again very soon with my next! I can’t wait to show you!
Until then, happy scrapping!
