Carabelle Studio Art Stamp 2 Flowers

Hi!  It’s Briony here – I wanted to pop in quickly to introduce the newest Design Team member to join the Anna’s DT Family … DEBRA JAMES …  Debra is an extremely talented and creative soul and you absolutely will love her cards as her colouring is second-to-none.  Here are a few words from Debra and her creation Carabelle Studio Art Stamp 2 Flowers …

***********************************************

Hi Everyone, Debra here! I live in Perth, Western Australia with my hubby and very spoilt little dog, Miss Bella.

I have 2 wonderful adult children, their partners and 3 beautiful grandchildren whom I’m lucky enough to live next door too, so I get to see them every day.

Gosh, I can’t remember when I wasn’t into craft, seems its always been a part of my life in some form or another. I have met some amazing people and friends from all over the world through this wonderful world of craft.

I am really excited to become a part of Anna’s Craft Cupboard Design Team and looking forward to sharing my creations with you all.

Hi there, it’s Debra, and today I would like to share a card I created using the Carabelle 2 Flowers Art Stamp Set.

Carabelle Studio Art Stamp 2 Flowers by Debra James

My card is a pretty CAS card.

I stamped the image with Black Ink and Clear Embossing Powder and heated with a heat gun.

I made a mask using X-Press It Mask It. I fussy cut out the mask and placed it over the stamped image on the card.

The background was made using a stencil I created using X-Press It Stencil Sheets and one of the smaller squares from  MFT Die-namics Square Stax Set. I placed the stencil onto my card base and used Tim Holtz Distress Oxides – Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover – to add the background colour.

I splattered some water over the background before I removed the mask.

I dusted of my ZiG CleanColor Brush Pens to colour the flower on the card, I just love these pens.

The Sentiment is from MFT – More Essentials Sentiments.

HINT… remove the  backing from the stencil sheet and place sticky side down onto Baking paper or similar to cut out – That way once you have die cut your stencil you can replace this back on to the backing sheet that you removed from the stencil. You really must try these stencil sheets and create your own stencils, they are fantastic.
