Ciao Bella Broccato Estense Cards
Hello…hello, Kim here to share with you my Ciao Bella Broccato Estense Cards. A couple of cards I have created using the stunning Broccato Estense collection from Ciao Bella
Teamed with a few other goodies from Anna’s Craft Cupboard, I think they turned out a treat!!
Here, let me show you!
I took 3 pre-folded cards, two I used as my card body and the other I cut in half and used as my base to work on. Trimming down slightly. I then took a canvas sheet from a pad and cut to the same size as my base. Using scissors I roughened up the edges, then using a good craft glue I stuck the canvas to my base and let dry. Using the Ciao Bella Broccato Estense collection I decided on the papers I wanted to use and then I trimmed them slightly smaller (roughly 5mm each side), than my canvas base.
For this ‘Beauty’ card I cut 3 narrow lengths & stuck them in place, next I fussy cut one of the birds from the Broccato Estense tag and sentiment sheet along with the sentiment ‘Beauty’.
I stuck a piece of lace above my paper strips and then I began arranging the bird, muslin, fussy cut flowers and some gorgeous blooms from the Graphic 45 Rose Collection Bon Voyage & French Blue. I then added in some ArtQuest Mini Prills in Minnie Pearls. Sticking down once I was happy with placement. I then took a little Tonic Studio Nuvo Expanding Mousse in Worn Linen and put it on my craft mat and added a touch of water, then using a piece of cardboard I loaded up the edge and added a little boarder around the edge of the card. I also done this with a little navy blue paint and also added in a few random splats of paint.
With this second card I kept the design very simple as I love the Ciao Bella Broccato Estense papers. I added muslin between my base and the papers. Using my paper trimmer I also cut (at random) around the edge, about 1cm in from the edges and tucked & glued in muslin to create interest.
I stuck down a small amount of lace, a couple of buttons, a sentiment, some Graphic 45 blooms and again I added some of the gorgeous ArtQuest Mini Prills. Oh…. and I also added a feather!!!
Once happy with the front of my cards I then stuck them to the card body’s.
I do hope you have found my post interesting and I hope you feel inspired to check out the Ciao Bella Broccato Estense Collection?
It is a truly beautiful Collection. I will be back to share another creation very soon.
