Ciao Bella Broccato Estense Layout Be Happy
Hello…hello… Kim here with you to share another of my projects, my Ciao Bella Broccato Estense Layout Be Happy, created using the Broccato Estense Collection from Ciao Bella.
This collection is seriously gorgeous! Perfect for scrapping wedding photos!
Let me share with you my second creation using this collection featuring my daughter Samantha and her husband Jacob.
Photo taken by a local photographer Angus McKern
To create this layout I started with a sheet of Ciao Bella-Broccato Estense paper that was in the almost sepia tones as I thought it would work well with my photo. I then found another sheet of Broccato Estense paper that had a lacey looking designed edge which I carefully ripped out and stuck this section to my base paper. Using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and a blending tool I went around the outer edge of my base paper.
I then took a stencil and some of the Tonic Studios- Nuvo Expanding Mousse in Worn Linen and applied it around my base paper. Making sure to dry it off with my heat tool. I wanted it to imitate the lights in my photo.
I cut a two tags from the sheet of Ciao Bella Broccato Estense tags and sentiments sheet and stuck those down, along with some muslin and a piece of lace. The lace is actually from the wedding invitations, I thought it would be a nice sentimental touch.
Next, I matted my photo onto some white cardstock, I also stuck some cardboard between my photo and matt just to give it height. Then I went in and added some flowers cut from other sheets of Ciao Bella Broccato Estense papers, distressing the edges of the cut flowers with scissors and also adding a touch of Vintage Photo Distress Ink using a blending tool. With a couple of the flowers I stuck some cardboard behind them to add height.
I then added some die cut leaves, feather’s, buttons, a metal charm and I also tucked a little extra muslin here and there. I then cut out one of the sentiments from the Ciao Bella Broccato Estense Collection Sentiment/tag sheet and stuck that in place, added a piece of cardboard underneath. Lastly I added some gorgeous ArtQuest Prills in Minnie Pearls.
With the die cut leaves I didn’t feel the need to remove all the cut-out bits…I like the effect.
I do hope you have enjoyed looking at my Ciao Bella Broccato Estense Layout Be Happy and reading about how I put my layout together?
The Ciao Bella Broccato Estense Collection is a very gorgeous range to work with and perfect for so many projects.
I will return very soon with a new project or two using this stunning collection.
Until next time
