Hi Crafters – Briony here!
I just wanted to quickly pop in and introduce you to our new Design Team member – Lisa Amiet! We are so privileged to have her on our team and I believe she will inspire many of you with her creativity. Here is a bit of info about her…
“I live in sunny Brisbane with my husband, two children and two cats. I have been scrapbooking for (whoa) about 12 years now. I recently had a break to refresh my creative spirit, but am back with a new appreciation for the art that I have loved for so many years. I love that I get to meet such lovely people through this hobby of mine.
I also enjoy photography and a little bit of gardening. I’m a bit of a flower fan, whether they are real or paper!
I have been a customer of Anna’s Craft Cupboard for many years and it is my go-to place for everything I need to complete my layouts. I am totally thrilled and honored to have been chosen to be part of the Anna’s Design Team and can’t wait to get started.
My blog is Splashes of Colour at: rilzbeecreations.blogspot.com.au <http://rilzbeecreations.blogspot.com.au/>
I am also Leesyjsnaps on instagram” – Lisa
Stay tuned… next week we will introduce another Design Team member!!
But for now – here is the talented and lovely, Lisa!…
Hi everybody! It’s Lisa here to share a few projects with you today.
But first I would just like to say how honoured I am to have been chosen to be part of the Anna’s Design Team. It has been a dream of mine for a number of years, as I have always been a loyal customer of Anna’s Craft Cupboard. It’s where I get my fix for pretty things 😉
So I received my first DT Pack, and when I opened the box I was so excited! I had received Bella Blvd’s Alex Collection!
This collection is great for boys, obsessive gamers and bottomless pits for food that they are! Also ideal for my style of scrapbooking. I knew I had the perfect pictures to fit!
So Rad is the first layout I completed with this collection. I loved the bright colours and the funky patterns! I’ve punch rounded off and inked my papers, am loving this feel at the moment. It just makes the papers pop off the page!
I have used some of the Alex Fundamentals Stickers, Tabbies, and some of the gorgeous Washi Stickers on my layout. The perfect add ons for your page. I have added some Prills in Baby It’s Cold Outside, to my title for that little extra pop!
To finish it off I have also used Today & Love Little Words Wooden flourishes from Kaisercraft. I have coloured these to match my page, but can see myself using the raw alot.
Next up I have made a couple of cards, because there is always a friend of my son’s having a birthday. Sometimes it feels like every weekend.
First up I made a birthday card for your little game addict. I love the elements from this collection, like the game remotes etc that let you personalise your card for the person receiving it. This is going to a 10 year old XBox gamer with a voucher for EB Games, so I think he will love it!
Next up I made a Congratulations Card, except in their language it says Congrats Dude hahaha
There is always something to congratulate them on, even just the little things. I might use this card to boost up Riley when something good happens for him, he struggles with Maths, so giving this to him when he tries really hard and gets an ok score on his test and deserves to be congratulated!
And lastly to share today is my YUM layout.
When I opened my DT Pack and saw these papers, I had to laugh out loud. I had just printed the perfect pics for this! We had been out recently and we bought Riley a hot dog for lunch and boy was he enjoying it. So I snapped a couple of pics.
I love the way this layout turned out. Lots of inking and misting on this page. The Why Not? Hotdog from the Paper Pieces was perfect touch. More of the Tabbies & Washi Stickers. Add another Kaisercraft Wood flourich wood in red to match the sauce. I love the mustard and sauce combination in the colours!
I have done a STEP by STEP Tutorial for this layout, hopefully have a play along with me.
