Well hello there!
I’m here today to share some Valentine’s Day cards that I created using Crate Paper’s ‘Heart Day’ collection.
This collection is full of awesome love elements that can be used for cards or layouts.
I managed to create 5 cards, and I still have so many goodies left to use.
For my first card ‘I like you a latte’, I have used strips of the patterned paper, then coated it all in gesso. I have then splattered some paint around.
I have fussy cut the cupcakes and the latte cup from the papers and I have layered these with some of the chipboard stickers, frame and ephemera.
I have finished it off with with some cute flowers.
My next card, ‘Love’, I have kept quite simple, with a plain black background.
I have layered a doily with a few of the ephemera, chipboard stickers, and little gold heart from the mixed embellishments to make a cute little card.
Up next is ‘XOXO’. I have started with some texture paste stenciled onto my base cardstock. I have added some colour with some pink mist.
I have layered some distressed papers, with some ephemera, and that adorable chipboard heart sticker. I have finished with a white flower.
For my card ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’, I have again used a black base, stenciled with texture paste. Some more splashes of paint.
I have layered a doily with some of the patterned papers, ephemera pieces and a tag from the mixed embellishments pack.
My final card is a cute cactus card. The cactus is from the chipboard sticker sheet, as is the cute little smiling heart.
These have been layered with patterned papers over a stenciled and misted background.
I hope you like these, and that is has inspired you to create.
I wish you all a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
