Kaisercraft Enchanted Layout Braver, Stronger, Smarter
Hello again, Kim here to share my Kaisercraft Enchanted Layout Braver, Stronger, Smarter.
This is my final project created using the Kaisercraft Enchanted range. A fabulous range from Kaisercraft, suitable for many creative projects!
Today I have a layout to share with you all. My layout is titled Braver, Stronger, Smarter and features my youngest daughter, Sidney.
Sidney is quite the perfectionist in all things she does. The last couple of weeks she has been sitting her trial HSC exams, so the pressure she has put on herself has been great. I am sure she has done very well.
Let me show you my layout ‘Braver, Stronger, Smarter’
When I first received the Kaisercraft Enchanted Range the sheet of 12″x 12″ Kaisercraft Enchanted Idyllic really caught my eye and I knew I wanted to feature it for one of my layouts. I took the Idyllic sheet and using a stencil and some Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Black Soot black Ink added some background interest. I then mixed some Prima Finnabair Art Basics – Heavy Gesso with some Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magical shaker in Cathedral Pines Green. Once combined, I used a leaf stencil and the coloured gesso and added some texture behind where I wanted my photo to sit. I then let this dry. Next I took the Idyllic sheet from the Kaisercraft Enchanted 6.5″ x 6.5″ paper pad and trimmed around 4cm from one side, I stuck some cardboard to the back of this section and stuck it on my base paper. Then I stuck the 4cm strip cut from the 6.5″ Idyllic paper across ways. (check out the photo’s). I also cut some cardboard and stuck it to the back of my photo and then stuck it in place.
Next I painted my chipboard pieces with some dark green acrylic paint, let dry and then stuck it in place. Next I added some fussy cut elements cut from the 6.5″x 6.5″ pad, inking the edges of these, using a blending tool and black ink, I then tied a double bow using some satin seam binding and stuck that down.
My title was on one of the description strips so I trimmed it down and backed it with some black cardstock and glued it down once I was happy with placement. Lastly I added some splatters of black and green ink.
The Kaisercraft Enchanted Range has been a lot of fun to create with and it would be fabulous for creating male and/or female projects with!
I do hope you have enjoyed reading about how my layout was put together and also looking at a few close ups. I hope I have inspired you to get a little (or a lot) creative?
