Kaisercraft Mountain Air Tag by Kim Ewins

Kaisercraft Mountain Air Tag

Hello…hello dear crafty friends! Kim here, sharing with you all my Kaisercraft Mountain Air Tag made for the Dad in your life!

Father’s Day is not to far away and the Kaisercraft- Mountain Air Collection is absolutely perfect for creating for the special males in your life! The Kaisercraft – Mountain Air Collectables and the Kaisercraft- Mountain Air 6.5 inch pad make creating tags and cards so easy!

Let me show you my tag….

Kaisercraft Mountain Air Tag

To create this tag I first cut a base from a sheet of white cardboard, measuring 20.5 cm x 9.5 cm. I covered this with a sheet of the Kaisercraft Mountain Air – Tree Trunks and the Rugged papers from the 6.5 inch pad. On the Tree Trunks 6.5 inch paper there is a slightly raised gloss to the paper. I took the Tonic Sutdios Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Old Navy and added a little bit to my finger tip and then rubbed over the Tree Trunk paper. I then cut another piece of white cardboard measuring 16.5 cm x 7 cm and covered it with some more of the Tree Trunk paper and repeated the process with the Nuvo Embellishment paste. Next I machine stitched around the 4 sides of the 16.5 cm x 7 cm section and stuck this section in place.

I  also used a couple of strips of the B side, of the Blue Jeans 12″ x 12″ paper, just to break up all the brown. Next I added a selection of die cuts from the Kaisercraft – Mountain Air Collectables, adding hidden corrugated cardboard between each one to add height and interest. A few wooden buttons, a few splatters of black ink & white paint, a sentiment, and a scalloped strip from the Kaisercraft – Mountain Air 6.5 inch pad and my tag was almost complete. Lastly I went through my ribbon stash and found the perfect ribbon to finish my tag!

With the sentiment I just ran a line of stitching along the top edge and then stuck it into place with glue.

I do hope you like my tag as much as I liked creating it!

The Kaisercraft – Mountain Air Collection is simply fabulous! Perfect for a range of crafting projects

Thank you for stopping by to view my Kaisercraft Mountain Air Tag and until next time
