LemonCraft Violet Silence Card by Kim Ewins

LemonCraft Violet Silence Card

Hello…hello! Kim here with you today to share another of my creations made with the very pretty ‘Violet Silence’ range from LemonCraft. Today I am sharing with you my LemonCraft Violet Silence Card which I made with a little fussy cutting and a few other touches I will touch on below!

First let me show you the card.

LemonCraft Violet Silence Card

To make this card I used the LemonCraft, Violet Silence paper 03 for the base paper, (I used the B side). I cut this to the required size, using the centre of the paper as I liked the weatherboard look. I like to leave a border of the actual card showing. Next I took some Lindy’s magical shaker in Polka Purple and sprinkled a little on my paper, then spritzed with a little water and then let it dry. Taking the same sheet of paper I then fussy cut one of the flower sections out from the A side and stuck it into place. Then I cut a strip of leftover Violet Silence paper, 2cm wide x the width of the card and added a piece of thick card to the back using double-sided tape and stuck into place. Next I made up a little Lindy’s Magical Shaker  Polka Purple wash using a little water, and paint this onto the raised strip of paper.

I then added a gorgeous 49 Market seaside bloom flower and leaves / fronds HERE, and a couple of pretty little Prima blooms. Next I fussy cut a butterfly….to get the curled wing effect, use a handle of a paintbrush and gentle curl the wings over the handle. Cut another strip of paper from the Violet Silence 03 paper (weatherboard side), around 5.5cm x 1.2cm, trim one end into a dove tail and distress the edges, stick into place. Take some ribbon and make a double bow, stick under the edge of the large flower.

Next I stuck some of the super gorgeous, Artquest Mini Prills-I Cannot tell a Lilac around my project. I then stuck a sentiment into place. Finally using some of the leftover Lindy’s Magical shaker Polka Purple wash, I splattered a little extra around my project.

I do hope you have enjoyed looking at my creation and I hope I have inspired you to get creating with my LemonCraft Violet Silence Card!
