Hello lovelies Rachel here! I am so thrilled to be joining Annas Craft Cupboard Design team. I am hoping you will enjoy my style of scrapping and it will inspire you in some way. Today I have a traditional 12×12 inch layout my Pinkfresh Studio Simple and Sweet layout Taking My Sweet Time. Using one of my favourite companies, Pinkfresh Studio Simple and Sweet Collection HERE is just beautiful, clean, fresh and summery. I have used Rikki’s August sketch challenge as inspiration.

I firstly used a cut file from the Silhouette Design store, cutting four of the lemons with leaves in white cardstock. I used water colour paint to paint three of the lemons. I then placed them following the sketch, overlapping them and only adhering the centre of the lemons. I added some machine stitching on the painted lemons and some of the leaves for texture. I then added some die cut leaves and tiny flowers from the PinkFresh Studio Simple and Sweet ephemera pack HERE. I adhered my photo with foam tape to add height and so I could tuck elements under.

I ‘framed’ my photo by adding one of the chipboard pieces, an epoxy sticker and die cut flower.

I chose the “Taking my Sweet Time” die cut and added the floral bunch die cut sliding in slightly behind the title die cut.

To finish my Pinkfresh Studio Simple and Sweet layout Taking My Sweet Time I added another epoxy Sticker slightly under the lemon leaf and as in Rikki’s sketch I added some die cut journal phrases around the edge (I machine stitched some of them). A light splatter of black color shine and there you have it!

I know you will love this Simple and Sweet collection by Pinkfresh Studio, in Store HERE !
