Prima Moon Child Layout In Love
Hello dear friends of Anna’s Craft Cupboard, Kim here to share a layout created using the super, beautiful Moon Child Collection from Prima. This stunning collection is just perfect for scrapping soft and pretty and perfect to scrap photos from my daughters wedding and here is my latest project my Prima Moon Child Layout In Love.
For this layout I started with the 12 x 12 sheet of Prima Moon Child Collection “Love Constellations” paper. I then grabbed the 12 x12 sheet of “Phases of the Moon” and measured in 6cm from the left-hand side and trimmed, then measured 4.5cm from the top edge and trimmed. I then stuck the “Phases of the Moon” paper on top of the “Love Constellations” as shown below.
Next I took a stencil and some Finnabair Art Basics – Heavy Gesso and added a little soft background interest, underneath where I wanted to position my photo. I also put some texture where both sheets meet towards the bottom left. (After the photo was taken below, I used another stencil of circular design and added more background work. But I forgot to take a photo.) I then let the gesso dry, naturally. I gently roughened 2 sides of the “Phases of the Moon”, using my fingernail.
Next I cut 3 sections of cardboard from my trusty pizza boxes, to stick to the back of my photo, the back of my pink cardstock and also to stick under the vellum. The little sheet of vellum comes with the gorgeous Prima Moon Child – Paper Flowers – Light Years, so it’s like a little bonus to use on your projects. I then stuck these in place, once I was happy with placement of my photo and backing layers.
I then arranged and stuck down a selection of blooms from the Prima – Moon Child – Light Years paper flower pack, around my photo and also one flower to the lower left section.
Looking through the Prima Moon Child – Ephemera pack I decided to use ‘In Love’ piece, which I stuck near my photo and the pink crescent moon which I added to the lower left section of my project, and the sweet little pink heart I stuck above my photo. I then stuck one of the Prima Moon Child – Metal Trinkets – Crescent Moons directly on top of the pink moon.
I also added some random die cut leaves, wooden beads and sequins.
So there you have it my 2nd creation using the stunning collection Moon Child from Prima Marketing
