Prima Moon Child Layout Magical by Kim Ewins

Prima Moon Child Layout Magical

Hello, Kim here, sharing with you my first project, my Prima Moon Child Layout Magical, using the very beautiful, Moon Child Collection from Prima.

This collection is stunning and works a treat with some photo’s I wanted to scrap. Photo’s from my daughters wedding last month.

I have titled this layout ‘Magical’ because to me the photo I have used is, just that!

Let me show you my layout…..

Prima Moon Child Layout Magical

For the base of my layout I used the ‘Lunar Peak’ paper, I then took a sheet of ‘Galactic Love’ paper and carefully ripped the top section from the sheet, as I wanted to keep the colours super soft and pretty. Next I stuck this section in place, over the green section of the ‘Lunar Peak’ paper, using double-sided tape, making sure not to put the tape close to the torn edge.

I then took some of the Prima Moon Child- Tulle Ribbon and tucked it under the torn/ripped edge. I stuck this in place with a small amount of glue. I then stuck my photo to a piece of cardboard, (I often use the pizza boxes that craft supplies come in and I cut pieces to size, to fit under my photos.) Using my fingertip and some Prima Finnabair Art Basics- Heavy Gesso, I ran my finger along the outer edge of my photo to create a border. I fussy cut some flowers, and both the large and small circle elements from the leftover section of the ‘Galactic Love’ paper. I played around until I was happy with the composition. Next I added pizza box (clean, of course!) cardboard to the back of all the fussy cut elements and stuck these and my photo into position.

I then added another section of the Prima Moon Child – Tulle Ribbon. It is a little tricky to glue down. I scrunched the tulle a little, added glue then placed something on top, until it dried. Next I took a few of the very pretty Prima Moon Child – Cosmic Love flowers and glued them in place along with one of the stunning Prima Moon Child- Metal Trinkets, Crescents.

I also added a few items from the Prima Moon Child – Ephemera pack and I also found my little title in there as well.

To finish off my layout I added a few swipes of Prima Finnabair Art Basics – Heavy Gesso around my project.
